Before you get mesmerised by the contemporary presentation of phulkari dupattas, let me tell you a bit about this art form of Punjab. Phulkari is an intricate embroidery work crafted with silk floss threads in vibrant colours on dupattas, shawls and other garments. It is a timeless tradition passed down through generations with lots of love.
