Hello my dear Readers! Today for you, we have the real exquisite concoction of the classic south Indian clothing with the flavour of Punjabi Phulkari. A perfect blend of two cultures – the serenity of the south Indian cotton silk and the vibrancy and youthfulness of Punjab’s Phulkari.

So, sit back and enjoy with your cups of hot chocolate while we, the trendy team of Tale of a Trend, present to you this extraordinarily alluring combination. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to build up some ‘khayali pulao’ with your crush aka Punjabi munda in your head.

  1. The ‘Desi’ Power Suit outfit

We have the perfect option for you. Classy, elegant and sophisticated- these are the emotions that this outfit evokes in all of us. It is a perfect blend of modern and traditional, the pants give a classy and elegant look while the kaftan inspired phulkari detailing at the top adds a playful and exciting touch to the outfit. The designer has ingeniously curated a blend of two completely different cultures in this theme to give our eyes a visual treat! The white cotton silk monochromatic jumpsuit is paired with a free flowing stylised phulkari fabric on one side of the garment. It creates a zestful and electric look. The cinched waistline adds a stylish touch to the outfit and grabs the viewer’s attention. The offwhite south cotton silk jump suit paired with a peppy phulkari pallu gives the outfit a dynamic and funky addition. The V-shaped neckline along with the exaggerated phulkari sleeves add a contemporary and geometric twist to the garment. The waistline is emphasised with  a stylised phulkari  waistband that brings the whole outfit together. The jump suit add a comfortable and business casual look while also cleverly drawing attention to the curves of the body.
