REdefining REtros

Hi Readers !

Would you like to take a trip back to the era of free love and sensational styles?

Would you like to recapitulate the classic glamour of the past?

Well, you are thinking it right! Let me unveil the curtain from your dwindling thoughts.  In this post, I have decided to Redefine the Retros.

Retro means imitation of trends of the past with contemporary interpretation. So “The New Look” at Tale of a Trend will exhibit the style quotient with a mash-up of swinging 60’s and present day couture. The 1960’s fashion was all about the power of patterns, colors, glitz and glamour. It was a decade of sweeping change throughout the fashion world. Flamboyance and magnificence took over simplicity. This decade was synonymous with short skirts and therefore you will gaze our gorgeous girls in long and short skirts and tops with modern prints and patterns. The merging trends will also be evident in handsome hero’s wardrobe with printed shirt and trouser accompanied with big frames.

Retro just became modern again with this post. Now let’s see how you can bring the spirit of sixties back in your own wardrobe.

Hold your breath! There’s little more. You can spot the iconic look of the blog on celebrity model and actress “Harshita Kashyap” who has been a part of lot of TV shows, music albums, TV commercials, fashion shows and films. She will be recently seen in a Bollywood flick “Mandakini” (directed by Sanjay Sakshii).
