Pink City
Aao huzoor tumko pink city mein le chalein !!!
Hello my lovely readers,
When you think about the future, what thought pops up first in your head?
Is it a picture of you sitting strapped in your spaceship, gliding across the pink sky of Jaipur to buy mirror work so that you can walk the ramp at fashion extravaganza by Tale of a Trend,
or
a picture of you riding your peacock robots and racing around with your friends in Amer Fort?
Well, we’ll go with the first! When we think of the future we think of our ‘Gen Z’ and ‘Generation Alpha’ rocking it out in the world of fashion and glamour with their miraculous mirror work outfits and goofy accessories!
“Playing dress up begins at the age of 5 and never truly ends” (-Kate Spade) . We at Tale of a Trend start this glam game at the age of 1.5 years!! 😉
This statement of Spade holds absolutely true for almost all of us, regardless of age or gender. Remember when you’d drape your mother’s dupatta and parade it around the house like a haute couture model walking down the ramp? Or when you’d spend endless hours in front of the mirror trying out new clothes and turning around to say to yourself “tumhe koi haq nahi banta ki tum itni sundar dikho. Not fair.” !
Such is the energy, we’ll be introducing to you today. We’re sure you’ve met almost all the trendsetters of trendy team at ‘Tale of a Trend’, but today we’ve something special, adorable and cute planned out for you. So hold on to your spaceship seat belts while we present to you all our tiny tots in the pink city!
1. Rock-n-roll of the group
The little Ms. Fashionista is here to sway you all with her mesmerizing rock-n-roll moves!! If you too wish to achieve a ravishing look like this you might want to take inspiration from our awesome angel here. The fuschia pink dress brings a vibrant and colourful touch to the garment. The long full sleeves, mirror work and the dynamic eye shaped cut out on the front adds a stylish and playful vibe. This look goes amazingly well with smart footwear like ballerinas and elegant earrings.

2. The Dashing Dapper look
If a modern twist to the early 2000’s is more your beat, then we have a perfect outfit for you. In this outfit, a nehru jacket donned with Jaipur’s mirrors is paired with a kurta pyjama. The dynamic jacket is stealing all the spotlight and imparting the joyfyl vibe to the ensemble. The short kurta and pyjama gives this attire an apt ‘desi dude’ look. The outfit can be accessorized with a jewelled cap and a pair of comfortable sandals. You can even try the sporty shoes. This look will make your lil handsome hunk look dapper and stylish with zero effort.

3. The Splendid and Stylish Angel
It’s almost impossible to look at this outfit and not simultaneously be in ‘awe’ of it! The 1.5 year tiny tot is donning a short puffy baby pink dress. The puffy silhouette simply matches the frolicsome energy of the our trending toddler. The cold shoulder detail and tiny mirror crystals on the yoke really makes the outfit look more outstanding, lavish and lively. The innocent angel looks best when teamed with a pair of open toe sandals, her bling hair-band and her enjoyable expressions! (Don’t forget to bribe your angel with a chocolate if you wish her to walk the ravishing ramp with all her glitz and glory.)

4. Little Girl with Little Curl and Lot of Glamour
We present to you Ms. Style-o-freak of this theme and might we say our favourite one! The mischievous munchkin is seen rocking a thigh slit gown. The amusing extended collar and shoulder detail along with the synchronised mirror work provides a surprise element to the apparel. The stylish slit gives a classy and luxurious look to the whole outfit while also making running around easier for the lil tot.

5. Lilac Lolita look
The modern touch to the 80’s is all we can say when we look at this outfit. The dupatta detail of the dress along with the lovely lilac colour, immensely decorative mirrors and beautifully designed silhouette gives the outfit a retro look. The off-the-shoulder detail appears to give a more funky and fashionable vibe with the lace and flowy sleeves. So if you’re taking your munchkins to disco dancing, best believe this outfit as it is going to shine brighter than the disco ball in there!

6. The Bollywood Babez Look
If you’re looking for an outfit for your lil tot that is modern, exciting and fashionable, look no further. We present to you ‘the bollywood queen look’!! In this outfit, a baby pink frock is styled with with ruffled sleeves . To bring some ‘spice’ and Bollywood touch to the attire, a pleated peplum is constructed over the puffy skirt and is enclosed with a narrow belt over it. The box pleats add a dynamic and geometric touch to the otherwise basic outfit. We guarantee you that this will make your young queen look like a superstar in the glam light at every event.

7. Pretty Princess Ariel- #desi-diva
Let’s put our hands together for our bubbly and beautiful princess! The bejeweled multi hued blouse and skirts along with the various eye catchy embellishments make the garment go high on glam quotient. The circular sleeve detail gives off a flowy appearance to the outfit. The geometric cut out on the hem of the blouse and multiple tassels on the skirt makes the eyes move along the outfit and it seems as if we have a luxury look from Johri Bazaar of Jaipur right on the ramp!
