It’s really funny how we waste extravagant costumes worn on special occasions, only to end up collecting dust from the world. Its high time now to reconsider the wardrobe priorities and let that designer lehenga see the light of day again.

In today’s world, SUSTAINABILITY SHOULD BE PARAMOUNT! The concept of redesign, restyle and reuse  high-quality clothing is absolutely important. It’s not just about the fear of fashion. It’s  also about reducing waste and making responsible decisions.

Let’s emerge out from the shackles of  William Shakespeare quote that “the fashion wears out more apparel than man!”

So, we dedicate this post to SUSTAINABLE FASHION. Designer Akanksha Jain took an initiative and showcased sustainable aspect of her outlandish outfits by creating fabulous fusion of traditional textiles and  denim. Parallel Paradise is a sustainable version of Peacock Paradise.

Here we go with the next theme showcased at Hues of Heritage, hosted by Tale of a Trend in association with National Crafts Museum and Hastkala Academy, Ministry of textiles, Government of India.
1. In her purple and blues, she’s a vibrant delight,
With denim and jhumkas, she shines through the night.

  A blue Banarasi brocade lehenga paired with a denim jacket and accompanying accessories presents a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, perfect for a modern Indian celebration. This monochromatic fusion ensemble beautifully combines the timeless elegance of Banarasi craftsmanship with the charm of denim to create a striking look perfect for occasions that call for both cultural respect and modern flair.
