We won’t be exaggerating when we say that she adroitly danced her way into the hearts of all the Hindi Cinema fanatics and has remained there ever since. She is a great inspiration for all the dancers and actors in the industry and continues to be everyone’s favourite woman crush.

The Dhak-Dhak girl has been effortlessly ruling the world of Bollywood since she entered this industry, thanks to her expressions, versatility and grace. Since the age of 17 when her first movie came out, she has captivated the hearts of a generation of fans and industry people and held them for decades. Her dance performances have always left her fans mesmerized and in awe of her.

• Ek Do Teen

This chartbuster number from 1988 from the movie ‘Tezaab’. The colourful and fun pattern on the costume made it resemble the real one worn by Madhuri Dixit in the hit song. The one shoulder blouse, sequenced pattern and asymmetrical hemline of the panel skirt really brought out the true character of the song. Her steps and expression made everyone in the audience swoon.

• Akhiyaan Milau Kabhi Ankhiyan Churau

The lyrics “Akhiyan milau kabhi akhiyan churao kya tune kiya jaadu” aptly described how the audience felt after this performance. The indo western concept gave a magnificent touch to the costume. Through this outfit, a modern look to the otherwise simple crop top- jeans outfit has been added. The added shrug detail to the costume gives a flattering touch to the outfit. The sleek embellished belt detail adds a vibrant character to the entire costume.

• Tu Shayar Hai

This poetic performance by the young dancer left everyone in awe of her. This costume was carefully designed to add some sparkles to the otherwise simple costume and bring a radiant touch to it. The costume is adorned with a bright and vibrant sequence pattern added to a monochromatic fabric. The cap and shimmery details on the costume really help in replicating the original one.

• Tamma Tamma

The event started out by a banging performance on the blockbuster song- Tamma Tamma. The leather dress along with the silver jewellery gave a grunge look to the entire costume. The crimped hairstyle and hair band really helped in bringing out the true essence of the song. The performance left the audience’s jaws and eyes wide open while they cheered and clapped enthusiastically.

• Aaja Nachle

Just like the beginning of this event, the concluding dance performance was also a hit. Swooning along with this blockbuster hit, the performer wore a black lehenga adorned with the golden sequence pattern. The shimmery blouse and skirt added a glistening sparkly detail and made the outfit look more vibrant and enchanting. The performance was absolutely graceful and stunning.
