Tale of a Trend Fashion Extravaganza, Season 8 – Vintage in Vogue 2025, held on 15th March 2025 at Radisson Blu, Dwarka, Delhi was an evening filled with glitz, glamour, and a deep-rooted tribute to India’s rich cultural heritage.
With a strong commitment to the Make in India initiative and the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One Family), the event beautifully blended tradition with modernity on the runway.
The evening commenced with an auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony, setting the tone for an evening that seamlessly blended tradition with contemporary fashion.

Thematic Showcases
The fashion extravaganza unfolded through a series of meticulously curated themes, each highlighting a unique facet of India’s rich textile heritage.
1. Devotion Decoded
A spiritual and cultural tribute featuring Parvati ji, Gannu ji and the Tale of a Trend family, highlighting India’s divine essence. Also, the theme endorsed North East Jackets and chanderi Sarees.
2. Shaan-e-laal: The Riots of Reds
A bold statement on the power, passion, and purity of red, portrayed through striking ensembles.
3. Basant Blossom and Brush Strokes
A stunning showcase of hand-painted sarees, where Russian Diplomats and Media Representatives draped exquisite floral masterpieces, symbolizing the artistic bond between cultures.
4. Begum Hazrat Mahal by JCC
A high-glam collection inspired by the Mughal Begums, redefining royal fashion with a contemporary touch.
5. Raunaqan
A vibrant and joyous representation of Phulkari embroidery, celebrating Punjab’s colorful textile heritage.
6. The Power Weaves of North-East
A tribute to Assam’s exquisite handlooms, incorporating corporate and contemporary attire into traditional textiles.
7. The Square Statement
A creative pocket-square collection, adding charm and elegance to women’s wardrobe.
8. Ikat Identicals
A testament to Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, featuring Indian models in Ikat western co-ords and Russian business woman in Ikat sarees, beautifully merging cultures through fashion.
9. An Indigo Affair
A denim-inspired theme embracing sustainability and everyday fashion with a modern edge.
10. Crazy Cats & Golden Gleam
A fusion of bold, glamorous gold ensembles, continuing the show with high energy and contemporary aesthetics.
11. Blazers & Bling
This segment showcased two striking styles:
Power Dressing: A refined collection of blazers, exuding confidence and sophistication.
High Glam: A dazzling array of shimmery sequined dresses, perfect for making a bold fashion statement.
12. The Missing Planet Pluto
A futuristic tribute theme that celebrated technological advancements in fashion, featuring innovative designs and experimental silhouettes that pushed creative boundaries.
The event culminated with a show director’s (my) bow on the ramp, followed by a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony, marking my special birthday occasion. The evening ended on a heartfelt note with the distribution of certificates to all participants and mementos to the esteemed guests of honor, recognizing their invaluable contributions.
With yet another successful season, Vintage in Vogue 2025 reaffirmed its mission to promote Indian heritage, endorse sustainable fashion, and foster cross-cultural appreciation.
