Rati

Love is Devotion

and a Selfless Emotion!

इस प्रेम की रासलीला को रैम्प पर आगे बढ़ाते हुए चलते हैं ‘ रति ‘ की ओर!!

On furtherance of Raasleela on Ramp by Tale of a Trend, lets continue embracing this love saga by welcoming our next theme “Rati’ meticulously curated by Mahima Korde.

Rati is the goddess of love, beauty, and pleasure!

Thus, the theme draws its creative inspiration from Shringara Rasa (beauty and love),  one of the nine emotions in Nava Rasa, and different expressions of Rati bhava. The design elements illume the everlasting tales of love and passion revolving around Lord of Love- Shri Krishna. Ranging from the epic love story of Radha Krishna to devotional love of Mira and Krishna, this collection is an attempt to revive and celebrate traditional textiles and craftsmanship through the mythological essence and modern visual play.

Our peppy Krishna of previous theme has popped into this collection as well to pep up the  vibrant vibe.

Hi my dear Readers,

Get ready to dive in design and devotion with us as we take you through this costume journey where each style will share its glorious story of admiration, affection and love.

1. Epitome of Eternal Love- Radha Krishna

The love story of Radha Krishna is one of the most exciting fable folklore of classical love. The love so pure that it awakens the entire universe.

The purity, passion and sensuality of romantic Radha serves as the inspiration for this stunning lehenga with a plunge neckline blouse. This off-white elegant ensemble is made even more special with its intricate hand painted lotus and leaf designs on the borders.

To complete the charm of this  look, accessories like crystal-studded pearl choker necklace, a white bracelet, and glistening jhumkis. Embrace your culture and style with this stunning piece of traditional craft in contemporary outlook.

2. Magical Melody of Meerabai and Krishna

Meera found solace while worshiping her love for Krishna. Her dedication and devotion towards her Krishan Kanhaiya has captured the hearts of people worldwide.

The simplicity of royal rajput and mystic poetess Meera serves as the inspiration for this serene yet stylish saree. This saree showcases the timeless grace & sophistication of Meera. This stunning piece of 6 yards is perfectly paired with a bustier blouse with exquisite hand painted flowers. The blouse strap is made of pearls to add a touch of sophisticated glam to the outfit. A long pearl necklace, studded earrings, a silver watch, white pearl bracelets and those curls in the hair complete the overall look of this.

 3. Gopis gates of love with Govind

The divine love of Gopis towards Krishna is a true example of Supernatural Seduction! The Lovely Lord made all his loving gopis dance on his tunes of flute and trigger their attention and attraction towards him. The costumes also endorse a similar story of these starstruck lovers.

Straight see through Kurta with Palazzo is a timeless ethnic costume that exudes elegance and grace. The intricate golden borders adds a touch of extravagance. The outfit is beautifully complemented by a white pearl necklace, round pearl earrings, and a pearl bracelet, which add a subtle touch of glamour to the ensemble. The pearls’ simplicity enhances the outfit’s beauty and brings out its traditional charm.  An absolutely fashionable and traditional outfit to flirt! 😉
